Hello, sorry I haven't been posting, but this will likely be my last post till next monday. I am unfortunately not at easy access to a computer where I can do this regularly right now. I'm having a great time in D.C. and you know how to get a hold of me. Talk to you on monday.

Saddam's Lawyer

The Associated Press and Las Vegas Sun are reporting that Saddam Husseins lawyer is asking the United States Supreme Court to step in and say that holding the former Iraqi dicator is unconstitutional. First of all, Saddam is a terroist who murdered if not millions at least thousands of his own people. Second, he's not a citizen of the United States, he cannot be held to the same statues as an American citizen. I suppose if the Supreme Court looks at this it will say just how liberal they really are. The Supreme Court is on summer break and so they probably won't get to it till late September.

Stupid, really stupid

The Washington State Supreme Court has said that a woman is allowed to complain about her ex-husband, even if he find's it annoying. This particular story comes from Seattle Times. I'm sorry this guys ex-wife complains to the authorities about him but she has the right to do so. I can't even believe the Washington State Supreme Court even looked at this. That's insane...more on the way...about this maybe, but probably about other.

I could have sworn!

I was sure I posted yesterday, I guess not. I promise I will tonight. I am taking tommorow off and next week I'm in Washington D.C. where I will be working for the show from there. I really do promise I'll post tonight.

American Pilot Punished

There are several sources reporting this but I have chosen CBC.ca as the source. The American pilot that killed four and injured eight Canadian soldiers in 2002 has been found guilty of direlection of duty. He has been allowed to remain in the Illinois National Gaurd, he can't fly again, it will cost him nearly 6,000 dollars. Likely he will leave the military without changing rank. He is said to have been "arrogant", "with no remorse toward the injury and pain he caused the Canadian forces". My question is, is the punishment enough? Should he have to do time (in prison) for diobeying direct orders? Let me know what you think you know how!

Jesse Jackson is Racist

I am about to make a bold statement. I'm warning you, this will offend some people. Jesse Jackson is racist, and I have the proof. The Cybercast News Service reports that Jackson said, at a NASCAR sponsored event, that NASCAR should pursue more black/negro drivers because, "One thing I know, negroes can drive cars fast, I mean, we go through red lights, even [drive] at night with our lights off. We can drive cars fast." So, what do you think? He's saying blacks break the law (drive through red lights), are unsafe (drive without headlights at night) and probably there is a nod for driveby shootings(again no lights at night) and a nod at speeding. This guy is definately worse the Bill Cosby, of course no one will attack him, after Jesse Jackson is a Democrat, Bill Cosby is not. Hmmmm...go figure eh?

According to SFGate.com Bill Cosby made comments like "Stop beating up your women because you can't find a job." and "They think they're hip, They can't read; they can't write. They're laughing and giggling, and they're going nowhere." regarding black children. I'm not racist, although I have been accused of being so. I think Bill Cosby is correct, even if he's using tons of steroytypes. Now I'm sure, you're going to come after me and attempt to tell me how he's wrong. Go ahead...I really don't care, I don't have an opinion other than the fact that I agree with him...more coming as usual.

CBS Fined

Finally, the FCC has made up it's mind on whether or not to sue CBS with regards to the Super Bowl 2004 halftime incident where Janet Jackson exposed or rather was exposed by Justin Timberlake to the billions of people watching. The Federal Communications Commission has ordered CBS to pay $550,000. CBS has also made significant changes to it's live content, particularly adding a delay of almost 5 minutes to shows like the Grammy awards. For more info on the story click here.
